Tuning Software
For even more tech info, join our tech forums, MoparTech.net!

This area is for all those hard-to-find neat little programs that you've been looking for.  These files will help you build, set-up, and tune your Mopar for peak performance.  If anyone has any questions about any of this stuff, please feel free to E-mail me.

Desktop Dyno 2000 Files NEW!

(for individual Dyno2000 .dyn files, you must right-click and select 'save target as')
(the 'Cams.zip' and 'Heads.zip' files will be required for the Dyno files to work properly)

  • Cams.zip (18k) - This is a compilation of all the cam files I have for Desktop Dyno 2000.
  • Heads.zip (18k) - Here's all the head flow files I have, including the ported J-heads on my 416.
  • 416.dyn (2k) - The dyno file for my current stroker build-up.
  • 340.dyn (2k) - The dyno file for the 340 that was in my '71 Duster.
  • 440.dyn (2k) - This is a very strong street/strip 440 that is relatively inexpensive to build.
  • 470.dyn (2k) - Here's an Indy-headed, stroked 470 build-up resulting in 780hp.
  • MM340.dyn (2k) - This is a build-up by Muscle Motors using a 4" crank in a 340 with ported W2's.

Engine Tuning

  • CamQuest - This cool utility from Comp Cams will tell you anything from effective gear ratio to calculating the proper CFM carburetor needed for any engine combo. A MUST HAVE!!
  • PC Dyno - Here is one of the quickest and easiest ways to calculate actual rear-wheel horsepower.  Very easy to use and accurate.

  • Car Test - For what it's worth, this is a pretty neat shareware program that will show you things like horsepower curves of a specific vehicle or allow you to enter yours.

Drag Racing Software

  • 1/8th - 1/4-mile Conversion Chart NEW!- Just as the name implies.  Converts 1/8th miles times to 1/4 mile times.
  • Practice Tree - Download this demo version of a drag racing christmas tree.  Helps to cut those reaction times down.
  • DragStrip Plus - This program takes every aspect of the complete combination of your car and drivetrain into consideration to give you a detailed list of what is to be expected from your car and what you can do to improve it.  This is extremely accurate.
